Welcome to The Way You Learn!
I’m Emese Dobszai, the founder of this initiative, and I’m passionate about creating inclusive and engaging learning experiences for learners, educators, and workplaces alike. With over 18 years of experience in education, I’ve worked with learners of all ages, parents, and fellow educators, helping them unlock their full potential.
My Background
I am currently pursuing an MSc in Psychology at the University of Wolverhampton and hold an MA in TESOL and a PGCE from the University of London, Institute of Education. My expertise spans neurodiversity, special educational needs (SEN), and mental well-being. In addition, I work as a teacher trainer for Canterbury Christ Church University, guiding future educators in developing inclusive teaching methods. I am also part of the Quality Improvement Team at an Ofsted Outstanding-rated college in South West London, where I contribute to enhancing training and educational practices.
The Way You Learn Ltd
At The Way You Learn, we specialise in tailored neurodiversity training for a wide range of settings, including schools, colleges, workplaces, clubs, academies, and more. Our strength lies in our bespoke approach—we work closely with clients to understand their unique environment and challenges, then design customised training sessions that meet their specific needs.
Whether you’re an educator, employer, or community leader, our sessions will equip you with practical strategies to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for neurodivergent individuals.
Personal Life
I live in London with my husband and our two multilingual Key Stage children. As a parent, I understand both the challenges and rewards of creating a supportive and engaging learning environment at home. This is why I am passionate about helping homeschooling and Key Stage school parents through the Parent Teacher Training Programme, where I share practical strategies for child-centred learning that fosters motivation and growth.
As a strong advocate for neurodiversity, I recognise the challenges parents face when engaging their children with education. I focus on using interactive, hands-on techniques to make learning both enjoyable and effective. To support this, I have developed 11 workbooks designed to help parents engage with their children’s learning in a fun and meaningful way. These resources, available under the "For Kids" section on this website, have been praised by educational psychologists, SENCo leads, headteachers, and most importantly, the children themselves.
My Work with Schools & Parents
As a parent, educator, and advocate for neurodiversity, I understand the crucial role that parental engagement plays in a child's academic success. Research consistently shows that parental involvement is one of the most effective tools in empowering children’s education. To support this, I deliver parental engagement sessions for schools, helping them build stronger home-school partnerships that enhance student learning and development.
