About Emese
Emese Dobszai is a teacher trainer and educator with over 19 years’ experience across further and higher education.
She holds a PGCE (Level 7) and an MA in Education from the UCL Institute of Education, and is currently in the final phase of completing an MSc in Psychology. Her work sits at the intersection of education and psychology, exploring how teaching, learning environments, and organisational cultures can better support both learners and professionals.
Throughout her career, Emese has worked closely with teachers, trainees and education providers to strengthen inclusive practice and translate research into practical strategies that can be applied in real classrooms. Through The Way You Learn, she designs and delivers professional learning sessions that help educators respond thoughtfully to learner diversity while maintaining sustainable teaching practice.
Alongside her work in teacher education, Emese is increasingly interested in questions of teacher wellbeing, burnout, neurodiversity, and leadership culture within education. Her current studies in psychology are deepening this work, informing future research and professional learning around how organisations can build environments where both learners and staff can flourish.
Emese has worked with a range of schools, colleges and organisations including Capital City Colleges Group, City Lit, City Year UK, VTCT Skills First, Green Crescent School and Omni Academy.
Her training sessions and collaborations have been positively received by educators and organisations across the UK, with participants consistently highlighting the practical and immediately applicable nature of her work.
Her longer-term interests lie in contributing to research and professional learning that supports more sustainable, psychologically informed educational environments.
